Marie E. Mitchell-Batson, O.D.

Dr. Marie E Mitchell-Batson graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1992 with a degree in microbiology.  She graduated from the University of Missouri St. Louis School of Optometry in 1996. 

Upon graduation, Dr. Mitchell-Batson worked for eye practices in Mt. Vernon and Springfield, Missouri.  January of 2003, she joined Dr. Chism at the Ozark Eye Clinic. She purchased the practice from him January of 2010. 

Dr. Mitchell-Batson and her husbnd, Dale, were married September of 2011.  She has three children, Olivia, Thomas, and Lucy.  They live in Ozark, Missouri.  The family enjoys golfing, camping, and boating together.  They are part of the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church family in Ozark, Missouri. 

William R. Chism, O.D.

Dr. Bill Chism graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1976. After serving in the Navy, he opened his first practice in Branson, Missouri. As that practice grew, he added locations in both Ava and Forsyth. Those offices comprise what is now Ozarks Family Vision Center. In 1999, Dr. Chism sold his interest to his partners.

He then purchased the Ozark Eye Clinic from Dr. Bill Burk. Shortly thereafter, he also purchased the Shell Knob Eye Clinic from Dr. Jim Rudd which he sold in 2011.

Dr. Chism and his wife Fran have 2 sons and 8 grandchildren.

Lisa Walker

Lisa Walker is our office manager. She started at the Ozark Eye Clinic in July of 2002.  She and her husband, Micky, live in Chadwick with their 3 children, Makenzie, Luke, and Lydia.  The family enjoys boating and four-wheeling together. 

Jessica St. John

Jessica began her career as an optometric assistant at the Ozark Eye Clinic October of 2006.  She is also one of our opticians.   She and her husband, Jason, live with their two children, Kylie and Aaron in Nixa, Missouri.  They enjoy boating, fishing, and camping together.  Favorite pasttimes include cheering for Aaron and Kylie at their sporting events, encouraging their little Piccasso, Kylie, with her artistic flare, and helping with the planning of the annual Nixa Sucker Days.   

Ann Dickens

Ann has worked as an optician for 25 years.  She joined the Ozark Eye Clinic staff March of 2005.  She and her husband, Dean, live in Nixa.  Dean and Ann have two grown children, Scott and wife, Elicia, and Jana.  They enjoy boating and spending time at their cabin at Bull Shoals.  Ann also enjoys going to auctions and  finding treasures for her antique mall booth.  She  is  very active with Relay for Life. 

Tonya Clark

Tonya has been in the optical field for 12 years. She received her ABO certification in 2006 and joined the Ozark Eye Clinic family November of 2007.  She, her husband, Jeff, and their daughter, Savannah, live in Ozark, Missouri.  They are the Pastors at  Spirit Life Church in Springfield MO.  Both she and Jeff are from the Missouri "bootheel" and enjoy visiting family and friends back home.   Tonya and daughter, Savannah, share the same birth day. 

Renee Roussell

Renee is the newest addition to our Ozark Eye Clinic family.  She joined us as an optometric assistant July of 2010.  She and her husband, Jeff, have three children, Jeremy and wife, Lauren, Kayla, and Jacob and are from Ozark, Missouri.  She is also proud grandma to her first grandbaby, Jayden.  Her family enjoys hunting and fishing together and just love being out in the great outdoors.  Renee also loves sewing and "crafting" just about anything. 

Kim Eastlake

Kim is a former educator.  After many years of teaching and several years at home, she changed career paths and began working at our office as a receptionist and office assistant.  She and her husband, Tod, live in Springfield, Missouri.   They have two grown children, Lindsay and husband Chad, and Lauren. All live in Springfield, Missouri.  She is also MiMi to two wonderful grandsons, Kameron, and Bentley.  She and Tod love camping, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
